FrameZero.tv is the online portfolio and blog of Paul Hanks, who is a Motion & Graphic Designer based in Bangor, Wales, in the United Kingdom.

I have been working in the broadcast, design & animation industry for the last 7 years, and I have put this website together as a place to showcase some of my past and current projects.

I hope to be updating this site regularly throughout 2010 and beyond, with new work samples, including commissioned, personal, and experimental for the purpose of keeping a personal record, obtaining new employment, or gaining more freelance commissions.

about me [a brief history]

After finishing my studies I spent 4 years working at Griffilms, based in Caernarfon between 2003-2007, then after a brief spell of freelancing I ended up at Movix Media in Bangor between 2008-2009.

I am now offering my experience & skills on on a full-time freelance basis to an international client base, although I have always been working freelance in parallel to my previous employment.

So far on a freelance basis I have worked on projects destined to be broadcast on TV in many different countries, which proves that with the speed of the internet constantly evolving, there really doesn't have to be a need to go to a 'fixed' place of work. These countries have included the UK, Australia, USA, Southern India, the Netherlands, and more.

I have a strong passion for the creative arts, graphic design, film, animation and photography.

Throughout this time I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience which can only be of benefit to my clients, or employers.

SKILLS

From my past experience, and a continuing appetite for new knowledge I can offer a very wide range of skills to any employer, or freelance client.

I am a strong believer in using whatever it takes to get the job done to the highest standard, and on-time.
